While the wonderful world of style is still dominated by women's fashion, menswear seems to be steadily catching up. Representing this momentum in the men's department, British designer Vivienne Westwood opens it's first standalone mens shop in London, Vivienne Westwood MAN Store, after an overwhelming response to the men's floor in her store. At Conduit Street, the original space was transformed from an underground vault to an edgy Stonehedge-inspired store designed with textural material such as stone, shuttered concrete, rusted steel and wide oak board floorings. The store is also jam-packed with distinctive pieces designed by Westwood, whose ability to fold, layer, crepe, cut and structure is to-die-for.
