Paying homage to the writer of Pinocchio, the Italian author Carlo Collodi, Montblanc has launched the Montblanc Limited Writers Edition Carlo Collodi as the newest member to its Writers Edition series. Carefully designed to reflect Collodi’s epic masterpiece, this refined pen from Montblanc features the story’s colourful characters, such as the loyal cricket, the deceitful cat and the voracious whale. A screw set into the clip symbolises the joints of the famous marionette, while the cone is reminiscent of Pinocchio’s legendary nose. The cap is adorned with the serial number and Collodi’s signature and the cricket on the 18k champagne-gold nib completes the elegant writing instrument in dedication to the great author.
