Unlike any wall decorations you have seen before, Box Stories are 3D miniature characters involved in larger-than-life scenarios, all imagined and handmade in Paris by French artist GATZ. We especially like Lima Syndrome which, constructed in wooden frames, illustrates the phenomenon of the reversed roles of abductors and their captives. GATZ’s attention to detail is accentuated here not only by his craftsmanship but the paradoxical relationship between the hunter and his preys, all captured in an understated 10x10x3cm box.
