Literally translated as cream of the sea, the limited edition Crème de la Mer by La Mer commemorates the fragility and restorative power of the ocean with a 100 ml day crème that uses marine botanicals to make skin smoother and reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles. Famous for creating the Miracle Broth, La Mer has blended a mix of sea kelp with an array of vitamins to create the World Oceans Day Crème de la Mer, which is fast-absorbing, perfect for the sweltering season. The Estée Lauder-owned cosmetic brand will also make a US$200,000 donation to charity Oceana in support of the ocean advocacy organisation’s conservation campaign. The day cream is set to hit the shelves in June.
