It is a well-known fact that Coco Chanel had a deep love for chinosierie, so it's not surprising that for the pre-fall collection, Karl Lagerfield visits the Paris of the East, Shanghai, for inspiration. While the clothes are stunning; what really caught our eye was the whimsical accessories collection, especially the earrings. We've been hearing rumours that statement earrings are on their way back in, and Kaiser Karl certainly seems to agree. Although the adorable Chinese doll ones definitely caught our attention, our favourites have to be the long sweeping black metal and gold thread earrings (HK$17,000).
